I joined Hilti in 2012 with a background in management consulting. I spent my first two years in the corporate development department of our global head office, where I worked on our corporate strategy, global logistics strategy and ‘Champion 2020’.
I then moved to France to become a regional sales manager of a team of seven sales people in the steel and metal construction trade around Paris. It was here that I got a taste of the core of the Hilti business, and where my strategy work really came into play. I was asked to implement our logistics strategy by heading our new global logistics services team.
Logistics is a truly global community at Hilti. We not only have global logistics roles based in Liechtenstein, but these roles are replicated in every region and every market organization across the company. We’re really well connected, with phone calls, social media, email and quarterly meetings. I travel a lot, especially throughout Europe.

I joined Hilti 9 months ago after 18 years of service with my previous employer. Since then I have been given the opportunity to lead the Global IT Enterprise Communications team consisting of Network Connectivity and Voice & Video services teams with highly skilled team members located in US, Switzerland and Malaysia. In this role, I have been given the opportunities to drive projects to improve the overall performance of these services globally to ensure better user experience and increase efficiency and productivity for the. On this role, I am learning something new every day and that is what excites me to come to work every morning. In addition, I am also driving some strategic projects.
In the next few months, I have been entrusted to lead the Global IT Digital Workplace team responsible for delivering all the Workplace solution and services impacting 25,000 Hilti employees worldwide. In Hilti, I have a career and not just a job.
